Nihara is a third-year student in the Honors Program at UConn majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Her research and academic interests lie in the field of pediatric developmental neuropsychology, and she is interested in learning more about how early childhood experiences can correlate with future neurological development and mental health. At UConn, she is a part of Husky Bhangra and is a part of different clubs, for example, Huskies for Health. Nihara aspires to learn more about the medical field and is interested in applying to medical school in the future. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading, baking and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to see what BANDLab brings this semester.
