Undergraduate Students

The BAND Lab is no longer recruiting undergraduate research assistants for the Fall 2024 semester.

The BAND Lab is always eager to help build undergraduate students research skills. Typically, our research assistants (RAs) work in our lab for credit hours, 1 credit is equivalent to 3 lab work hours. Read the following information to learn how to apply.

What kind of students are we looking for?  
Enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible students interested in the areas of research of our lab. Students with a “can do” spirit, able to work in teams but also independently, not afraid to ask questions, and students willing and able to complete the average number of hours they sign up for.

If I am an honors student, will I have the opportunity for mentorship? 
Honors students interested in PI’s mentorship should state that in the below interest form and if given to opportunity to join our lab, they should arrange a meeting with the PI.
