March 2024:

• Graduate student Kate Jennings presented her first year project at UConn’s Developmental Psychology Brown Bag Meeting. Great work!

December 2023: 

• Congratulations to our RA Kendall who graduated from UConn with a BA in Psychology. Thank you for your many contributions to the lab, especially for your leadership building our lab’s functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) caps. 

November 2023: 

• Congratulations to our RAs Valerie and Sophia for your acceptance to study abroad during the Spring 2024 semester.  

October 2023: 

• The BAND Lab visited the UConn Brain Imaging Research Center (BIRC) We got to see the facilities, learn about the protocols in conducting studies involving MRI, fMRI, EEG, and TMS and about some of the safety precautions to take when working with these. 

September 2023: 

• We welcomed new graduate student Katherine Jennings.
• The first BAND Lab meeting of the year! The team was excited to continue working on our different research projects, but also sad as it was Libera’s last day in person in the lab.
