Alexsia is a Junior in the Honors program at Uconn. She is double majoring in an individualized major of Developmental Neuroscience and Spanish. Alexsia is on the Pre-Medical Track and intends to work in pediatrics once she is out of school. Her research interests include finding patterns in the connections between mental health and physical health of children and adolescents. On campus, Alexsia is VP of Project Sunshine – a service organization for pediatric hospitals, and VP of public relations of Alpha Phi Omega – a coed service fraternity. Off Campus, Alexsia is already involved in medicine as a PCA at CCMC and as an EMT for Trinity Health. She is excited to get started in the BAND Lab and learn more about the topics that made her individualized major come to be.
