Nihara is a first-year student in the Honors Program at UCONN majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology. Her research and academic interests lie in the field of pediatric developmental neuropsychology and she is interested in learning more about how early childhood experiences can correlate with and affect future neurological development and mental health. Nihara aspires to learn more about the medical field and is interested in applying to medical school in the future. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading, baking and spending time with friends and family. Nihara is very excited to be working with BAND Lab this semester and can’t wait to get started!
